Then join us for a photography getaway to glittering St. Augustine, FL!
We are Florida-based photography instructors, Steve and Faith Hutchinson. We are leading a weekend photo workshop around one of our favorite vacation spots, where we'll explore many of the picturesque locations of St. Augustine FL.
And we’ve picked the BEST time to see it, during the Nights of Lights!
St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights is a display of more than 3 million lights that decorate the beautiful historic district. And our workshop is happening for a long weekend during this dazzling celebration!
From the city gates to the beach, the Lighthouse, and the Shrine to the variety of wildlife at the Alligator Farm, we look forward to showing you around this amazing city.
This weekend workshop welcomes all skill levels and brands of cameras.
Each day, we will cover the equipment and settings relevant to the scenes we will be photographing. This is scheduled to include sunrise and landscape, time/long exposure, travel, architecture, wildlife, and night photography as we travel win historic St. Augustine. We've got a busy itinerary planned, so bring your comfortable shoes!
The fee for this three-day workshop is $1099 per person.
This includes all admission fees to all pre-scouted workshop locations, as well as guided camera instruction.
Not included are transportation, meals and hotel accommodations.

Our workshop will base at Budget Inn, St. Augustine FL. This motel is conveniently located 0.8 miles from the St. Augustine historic city center, just across the famous Bridge of Lions. Attendees will need to arrange their transport to and from this location for workshops. Please contact us if you have questions or need help with travel plans.

This workshop will be based at the Dreamcatcher Inn, West Sedona, AZ. We chose this motel for its convenient location. You may make reservations here, or choose your preferred accommodations. The oldest city in the state of Georgia and one of the oldest in the country.
You could spend months in historic Savannah and still not capture all of the of sights. Antebellum architecture. Live Oaks covered in Spanish moss. Manicured parks and cobblestone squares. Enduring landmarks like Forsyth Park and the gorgeous Gothic-Revival Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist.
We can’t promise you’ll see it all, but this photography tour will be an introduction that will whet your appetite and tempt you to extend your stay.
Our photo workshop weekend will begin on Friday TBA and end on Sunday. This weekend workshop welcomes all skill levels and brands of camera. We keep our group sizes small, so you’re not left waiting…for your “turn” at the shot, or for assistance from one of your two instructors.
What you will learn: each day we will cover the equipment and settings best suited for the scenes we will be photographing. This will include architectural, street, travel, and night photography as we tour historic Savannah.
We are Steve and Faith Hutchinson - professional photography instructors. We love sightseeing, enjoying delicious food, and teaching photography at scenic locations around the US.
